So you want to get a tattoo by Trash Grandma?
Here’s what you need to know...

By being sent this document, you agree to the following terms of booking. Please thoroughly read this document. If you need any clarifications on any of these statements, please enquire before sending your nonrefundable deposit.

I will not tattoo any person who comes to their appointment under the influence/ not of sound mind, with a sunburn to the area being tattooed, lesions or damage to the area being tattooed, anybody on antibiotics or if you are pregnant or breast feeding.  

You will be required to present government issued photo ID. If you are underage, you will be required to have legal guardianship consent. They will be required to have matching last name photo ID, or have legal documentation of guardianship.

I have the right the refuse any person who challenges any concept of me being able to perform a safe tattoo. I have the right to refuse any design.

All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. The deposit will be taken off the appointment total cost, or carried through to your next appointment for the completion of your tattoo. This nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your appointment. If you do not send a deposit, the appointment will not be booked. If there are any issues with this, please send me a message as soon as possible.  

I require 3 days notice for any changes of appointments. If you become ill, you will need to message me immediately to rebook. My business is sustained based on everyone showing up to their scheduled appointments and I absolutely appreciate you being considerate with changes and rebooking.

If you need to rebook, 3 days' notice is needed. You will be allowed 1 change of appointment per deposit. If you need to rebook or cancel that appointment, you will be allowed 1 month to reschedule. If you do not give 3 days' notice or do not rebook any changed appointment within 1 month, your deposit will be taken.  This is non-negotiable.

Please show up to your appointments on time. You are allowed 15 minutes to be late, with communication, otherwise your deposit will be taken.  Please let me know immediately if you are going to be late. I will be at the door 10 minutes before your appointment time waiting for you. Please message me when you are here on the platform we booked your appointment on. I will come let you in.

I do not allow numbing cream.

Please take into consideration when you're booking:

Vacations – you cannot go into water for 2-6 weeks after being tattooed- your tattoo needs to be fully healed before it can be submerged into water.  Tattoos need to be out of direct sunlight for 4-6 weeks. Direct sunlight can burn, irritate or scar your fresh tattoo. You cannot get a tattoo over a sunburn.

Time restraints – Sometimes tattoos take longer than expected, please do not book appointments immediately after your appointment. I want to give you the best tattoo possible and being rushed is not my vibe.

Physical Activities – Tattoos are strenuous on the body and require time to heal. Please do not get a tattoo before a marathon, a big move, an Olympic swim meet or anything that will require you to be moving or using your body part excessively after an appointment. Also, do not do anything that will cause bruising or damage to skin being tattooed before your appointment. I cannot tattoo over bruises or cuts.

I do suggest not training or going to the gym for at least a week after your appointment (circumstantial based- please let me know of any concerns with this and we can go over what is normal and what is not and what we are able to do with the tattoo you are getting.)

Crazy Weather for Out-of-Town Appointments – Please be aware of the storms a brewin’ - if you are concerned about making your appointment because you live out of town and the weather is crazy, please let me know immediately and we can rearrange your appointment. This does not apply to in town residents.

How to prepare for an appointment

Please make sure the area you are wanting tattooed is healthy, well-lotioned, clean and unblemished. Lotion the area being tattooed for at least 1 week before your appointment.

Make sure you are feeling your best! You will need to be well-rested, nourished and hydrated. Be of sound mind. Let's make this the best experience we can. Tattoos take a lot of out you and it's important to be coming into this session with your best self in order to have optimal healing.

Bring snacks. Bring a water bottle. Wear comfy and appropriate clothing. Make sure the area being tattooed is accessible and free of clothing. Please do not wear your best outifts, ink is messy.
Please wear nipple pasties or appropriate coverage for sensitive areas. I have a private room, but I appreciate you and me being comfortable.
You are welcome to bring headphones. A clean blanket, a clean pillow and anything you need to feel comfy. Sometimes bringing too much is a thing, a craft is fine... but if it is going to make you move too much or get in the way, maybe this isn't the time for that activity. I am always down for art hangouts, if you have an easy craft and you are able to do so appropriately – lets have fun!
I will have beverages and candies for your appointment, but if you have any allergies or food sensitivities – please bring your own snacks and let me know before your appointment.

If you are going to be tattooed all day, please bring a lunch or we can plan to order snack on our breaks.

You can bring a friend! As long as your friend is considerate and is aware of all my policies. Anybody who isn't being respectful will be told to leave. This is a safe space for everyone and I appreciate you making sure we are both safe and comfortable.

Please let me know if you are bringing anybody to your appointment. I do not allow minors in the studio. Unless they are being tattooed with their parental consent and parental guardian on premise. No children unfortunately. If you bring children to your appointment, your appointment will be rebooked and your deposit will be taken.

I am into tattoo parties. Let me know if you want a group booking and we can make this a fun event!

Artwork: Artwork will be given at the appointment. I like to finalize the design with you. Everything in my layout will be able to be manipulated. We can move things around and adjust things together. We will make this design everything you want it to be.

I am very passionate about making my studio a safe space. You are my number one priority. If you need anything to make your appointment more comfortable, please let me know.  I am communication based. Please let me know of anything I need to know of before your appointment.
